
Sharon Scott
Sharon Scott is an emerging fashion designer and recent graduate Miami International University of Art and Design, a.k.a. the Art Institute in Miami, FL.

Sharon was born in Detroit, Michigan and later moved to Miami, FL to pursue studies at the University of Miami.

BIO.

During her time at the Art Institute she frequently participated in International and local Fashion Shows including such designers as Carolina Herrera, and Custo Barcelona. Sharon also participated in various In-store fashion shows in Saks Fifth, Neiman Marcus, and Macys.
After graduating, in 2010 from the University of Miami with a bachelor in International Studies she began to pursue a second degree, associate in fashion design, at the Art Institute Miami.


Sharon’s greatest influences have been Lanvin, Calvin Klein, Dior and Chanel. Her design aesthetic includes; minimal, modern, sophisticated elegance yet practical in designs, Feminine silhouettes in luxurious fabrics, and the unfinished edge.
She gathers her inspiration from traveling. She enjoys design her own textiles and fabrics, and incorporating them into her designs.
Since graduating in June of 2015, she has been working under the tutelage of local Miami designer Carlos Del Valle.


Sharon Scott is involved in the community, believes in the importance of giving back, and inspiring others. When she is not designing she is traveling on mission trips, mentoring young girls, singing and writing music.
